Morgan Neville ‘s WON’T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR Makes: 10 Most Recent Films – We’ve Brought It Back, Time To Let Us Know What You’ve Been Watching Once Again; from Films Gone Wild
It has been a long, long time since I have added a “Ten Most Recent Films” entry. Did I just stop watching movies? No, of course not. But I did stop writing them down and logging them in since the beginning of the year.
Well, enough with that!
So, starting off with a bit of a cheat: 20 FILMS! (Since, I wanted to include the films I’ve seem since my most recent film festival tour.) Go to the comments section and let us all know what you have seen recently. You don’t need to include the director or where/how you saw the films. I just do that because this site is meant to celebrate the work of filmmakers, and I’m also interested in how we are “getting” our movies now.
Anyway, following is my list. I want to see yours:

Melanie – I would call you out for cheating by listing the shorts (Okay, I’m totally doing that.) but I also love giving short films some love and attention…
Alec – Since you are a little bit of a completionist, I’m surprised Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN didn’t also get a look-see…
Not canon! The only bit of Rob Zombie’s Halloween have seen actually I saw while at a three-screen drive in theater. I was watching something else and looked over at another one and saw some hardcore ultraviolence going on. Watched that briefly and then went back to Rush Hour it whatever it was I was there to see.
Also, did you ever watch the Mary Elizabeth Winstead THING prequel? I recently watched a You Tube “Let’s talk about how these alien things or zombie viruses actually work from a medical/scientific scrutiny viewfinder” and I found myself wanting to re-watch it because I must’ve dozed off during a good portion of that film when I did watch it.
Thoughts?
Apostle, Hold The Dark, Bohemian Rhapsody, Halloween, Black Coat’s Daughter, Devil’s Candy, Johnny English: Reborn, Shower, In Cold Blood, In The Fade.
The Professional (Leon’), Warrior, 22 July, A Star Is Born, The Intern, Hearts Beat Loud (< AMAZING!!!), Spare Room, The Tale, American Animals, Tully
That you saw SPARE ROOM is really random. Know anything about the director of that film…?
