LA’s Rich & Successful Film Festival heads to the Egyptian for their 3rd Edition

LA’s Rich & Successful Film Festival 3 (RSFF 3), presented by Topcat Management, and co-presented by sogbots and the American Cinematheque, announced the film festival will take place this year on September 20-21. For the first time, RSFF will screen its highly curated selection of shorts at Los Angeles’ historic Egyptian Theatre (6712 Hollywood Blvd.). The Call for Entries has begun with the Regular Deadline set for May 10 and Late Deadline set for June 14.

Boise Film Festival to make big debut in October

BFF will be designed to highlight the bustling creative community supported by the City of Boise, Idaho, by bringing filmmakers and film and television industry veterans to the city to celebrate independent film via a four-day event which will feature screenings, panels, Q&As, and masterclasses. Due to its easy access from Los Angeles, it is anticipated to become a top destination film festival on the regional circuit for film professionals, creatives, deal makers, and aspiring filmmakers on all levels.

Dances With Films – NY 2023 Winners Report

Dances With Films – the Indie Film Festival that eschews ‘Marquee Names’ for Indie Talent announced its Audience and Industry Choice Award winners during a breakfast celebration at The Stand (116 E 16th Street) following a jubilant high energy weekend of screenings and events during its 2nd New York edition (adding to DWF’s nationwide brand with 26 years in Los Angeles at the Historic Chinese Theatre). The Audience Choice Award winners were led by Justin Chan’s Grounded (Best Narrative Feature) and Hoag Kepner’s Torched – The Story of Austin Torch. Vardan Tozija’s M received DWF’s coveted and rarely awarded Programmers’ Choice Award.

San Pedro International Film Festival 2023 Winners Report

SPIFF Festival Director Ziggy Mrkich, said, “This edition of the San Pedro International Film Festival had a strong literary feel to it, not simply because we incorporated two book signings in the mix of our screening schedule, but the films themselves, as well as our On-Set Intimacy Coordinating panel played into that thoughtfulness and added a depth to the presentations for our film fans.”
