Beirut Shorts International Film Festival, an Academy Awards (OSCARS) qualifying film festival, is the most prominent short film festival in the Arab world. Founded in 2007, and organized annually by the Beirut Film Society, the festival has grown to be a significant platform under the constant theme, “The Power of Youth.” Beirut Shorts is dedicated to promoting young filmmakers and showcasing their creative talents, reflecting the festival’s commitment to empowering the next generation of storytellers through the cinematic arts.

Los Angeles Documentary Film Festival
Presented by the esteemed Parajanov-Vartanov Institute, DOC LA – Los Angeles Documentary Film Festival – will screen and award outstanding films by students, emerging filmmakers and established masters of American and World cinema. DOC LA furthers the mission of the annual Parajanov-Vartanov Institute Awards established in 2010.
While the festival’s focus is documentary cinema, we program films of any genre (including Animation, Live Action/Fiction, Experimental and Music Videos). We are also enthusiastic about unusual, strange and unclassifiable films
Athens Short Film Festival
The 7th edition of the Athens Short Film Festival will take place in December 2025.
The Athens Short Film Festival is an annual event that spotlights international independent breakout shorts. Taking place in the multicultural and artistic Greek capital, ASFF supports the city’s underground scene and breaks its geographical boundaries by gathering a mixed audience of locals and internationals. Local cinemas have always been a place where conversations and debates on social, political and gender issues sparked. And it is part of ASFF’s mission to rejuvenate these spaces and honour their cultural significance.
The Festival’s screening programme features emerging talents from all over the world and all filmmakers regardless of background are invited to submit their artworks.

Hudson Valley Film Fest
