Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why, Hellraiser), and Olli Haaskivi (Oppenheimer, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) will star in the upcoming dramatic feature film, Lumberville. The film, which promises to be “a journey that redefines the road movie” will be directed by award-winning writer/director Vincent W. Gagliostro, co-written by Avram Finklestein.

Production is being spearheaded by Keep or Destroy Productions, with Lianne Becker, Collin Meath and Benjamin Drew Thompson producing. Sherpa Films with Producer Alex Mitow and Producer, Rose Kuo are also attached to the project.
Lumberville is described as a road movie for 2025, a folk tale about America, viewed from the margins. The film follows Danny and Casper, practically strangers, who decide to escape together from the harsh realities of their lives in Los Angeles. Neither of them imagines their trip across America will become a reckoning with their pasts and their futures. It’s a story rooted in the director’s queer experience, but meeting the audience in a place that’s universal. A story about the longing to be seen. To belong. To find connection in a world that doesn’t always make space for it.
Writer/Director Gagliostro said, “We are thrilled to welcome Brandon and Olli to Lumberville, Both bring remarkable range and depth, and their collaboration will be electrifying on screen.”
Flynn, best known for his breakout role as Justin Foley on Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, has since garnered critical praise for his work in both television and film, and in early 2025, he earned critical acclaim for his riveting portrayal of Marlon Brando in the stage production Kowalski, a performance hailed as both fearless and deeply transformative. He continues to be recognized for his ability to portray complex, emotionally rich characters.
Haaskivi, known for his versatility and nuanced performances, has appeared in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Apple TV+’s The Big Door Prize. He is currently shooting the new Apple series Widow’s Bay, written by Katie Dippold and directed by Hiro Murai.
Lumberville is set to begin production in NYC, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania, in early 2026.
