Cinedigm picks up North American rights to Chandler Clarke’s pandemic doc ALL IN MY POWER

Cinedigm has announced they’ve acquired North American rights from Motion Picture Exchange to Chandler Clarke’s feature documentary debut, All In My Power, a powerful look at the impact of the pandemic’s first wave in New York City through the eyes and experiences of the people on the front lines. The film is set for release on all major VOD platforms in the U.S. and Canada on March 1, 2022.

Shot during the height of the pandemic’s rise in NYC in 2020, All In My Power is a captivating time capsule that captures the emotion and raw experiences of New York’s Healthcare Professionals that can never be recreated. A set of diverse frontline staff articulate the mental toll this pandemic has taken on them, and the amazing resilience they’ve harnessed to get through it.

Filmed just nine weeks after NYC’s first recorded case, the film’s first-hand accounts (shot throughout the pandemic via a special filming location, designed to not only maintain safety and adhere to NYC guidelines, but to provide an intimate setting for the subjects to express themselves freely) are a testament to the lengths our healthcare community have gone through to provide care to patients and their loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic. Written and directed by Clarke, the film was produced by HSC.TV’s Bryan TwZ Brousseau, Clarke, Pier de Sanctis, and Lisa Edward. Executive producers are Ryan Bury, and James Andrew Felts.

Josh Thomashow, VP of Acquisitions, Cinedigm, said, “Cinedigm is excited to partner with MPX to bring Chandler Clarke’s gripping documentary to the masses. We hope the experiences these healthcare professionals share in the film will help us be better prepared for tomorrow, and that their courage will inspire others to make a difference as well.”

“When a documentary film contains such an important message as All in My Power,” said Ryan Bury, SVP of MPX, “it’s crucial to find the right distribution partner and Cinedigm couldn’t be a more perfect fit to help usher the film and its message to audiences.”

Clarke added, “Cinedigm’s reaction to the inspiring stories we wove together is exactly why we made the film. They understood the importance of this perspective and the delicate way we approached capturing it. Our healthcare providers had to (and still are) navigating a difficult time that will not only change their lives forever, but the course of history. Their voices need to be heard and remembered far into the future and remind us to cherish life.”

The deal was negotiated by VP of Acquisitions Josh Thomashow on behalf of Cinedigm and SVP of Acquisitions and Sales Ryan Bury of Motion Picture Exchange.
