  • Director: Francis Lawrence

Synopsis
Based on the Stephen King novel (written under his pseudonym Richard Bachman), The Long Walk sets up a grim and relentless contest: 100 teenage boys must walk continuously at a minimum speed—now quoted at four miles per hour—or face elimination, in the most literal sense: three warnings and they are shot dead. Only one can survive, and as the deadly march progresses, alliances fray and survival instincts kick in.

Synopsis
The iconic fictional rock band Spinal Tap reunites (against all odds) after decades apart for what they intend as their final show. Plenty has changed—members have aged, egos have ballooned, and their infamous curse (“up to 11,” extra drummers, on-stage mishaps) is always lurking. With hilarious cameos from real-life music royalty, the band tries to reclaim their legacy. Expect chaos, nostalgic riffs, and the same irreverent satire that made the original a cult classic.

Critic Excerpts

  • “The return of Spinal Tap is as audacious as it is heartwarming—Reiner brings back the satirical soul of the original while letting age-and-experience fuel new absurdly comedic conflicts.” — Pitchfork
