Portland Film Festival
This October 2025, Portland won’t just be the city of roses—it’ll be the city of film. All for the love of cinema, our event is jam-packed with networking, workshops, guest speakers, film premieres, financing talks, director Q&As and more. There’s a reason Portland is different. Arizona International Film Festival
Come celebrate 33 Years of Independents.
The 33rd Arizona International Film Festival, the longest running film festival in Arizona, will run from April 3 to April 13, 2025 at The Screening Room, the Mercado Annex, the historic Hotel Congress and other exhibition venues throughout Downtown Tucson.
The ongoing Festival theme of Bridging Cultures provides a way for independent cinema to share images and voices from diverse cultures with Arizona communities. Since 1990, the Arizona International Film Festival has screened over 3400 films from 100 countries to over 180,000 Arizonans of all ages.
Remaining true to the independent spirit, the Arizona International Film Festival is a venue for independent filmmakers in search of an independent audience.

Mind the Indie Film Festival
We are an independent international film festival that aims to showcase the best indie films in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Our mission is to help talented film artists that create meaningful films, that are worth seeing and sharing, but who lack the backing of studios, expensive marketing campaigns, or famous personas.
We want to help these filmmakers to show their films and shine a light on the value of their non-studio productions. And, our goal is to educate audiences on the quality and importance of independent cinema.
This year the festival will be held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, an up-and-coming creative and cultural city in the heart of Eastern Europe. Plovdiv was chosen as the European Capital of Culture in 2019, and ever since, it’s been attracting visitors from various countries for its cultural events.
We believe our film festival will add to this rich atmosphere and give filmmakers a chance to showcase their work to a wide range of audiences from different parts of the world.

Hang on to Your Shorts Film Festival
The Hang on to Your Shorts Film Festival is entering its 11th year of bringing great short films and art to the iconic Jersey Shore. In April of 2024, the Hang Onto Your Shorts Film Festival was held in the great city of Red Bank, New Jersey.
Your art deserves a real movie theater. Accordingly, our 2025 event will be held at Basie Center Cinemas, 36 White Street, Red Bank, NJ.
New Jersey is the home of a lot of great film festivals. The Hang Onto Your Shorts Film Festival is unique because it is an intimate and inviting affair, without pretense. We celebrate your art, and we celebrate you! Hang Onto Your Shorts strives to create connections among filmmakers and actors, and these connections often result in collaborations that screen the very next year.
In celebration of the spirit of the Jersey Shore’s musical history, we recently added a “Music Video” category to the awards. We also aim to promote the arts with future creators and collaborators. Accordingly, we have special STUDENT film rates.

Welcome to The NOVA Fest! The Northern Virginia International Film & Music Festival is celebrating its 11th Anniversary!
After hosting several hundred films from over 35 countries, and celebrating industry leaders like Eduardo Sanchez of The Blaire Witch Project, Michael Uslan, the executive producer of JOKER and all modern BATMAN films, and Russell Williams II, the first African-American to win back to back Academy Awards for his work on Glory and Dances With Wolves, in the Spring of 2023, we returned to live screenings and our awesome Awards Ceremony; celebrating the latest season’s Stan Lee Foundation Award Recipient Kelly Hu.
We are also continuing our highly successful film market. The CAPITAL FILM MARKET works in conjunction with The NOVA Fest and the Virginia Film Office to bring sales agents, domestic & international film offices and buyers from around the globe, searching for and buying new content. In the age of new media CFM fully embraces and offers an environment to sell content to platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Tubi, Roku, Vudu, and on and on.
Seminars, panels, receptions and party after party, lead up to an elaborate Oscar-style Awards Ceremony! With shuttering of filmocracy, our virtual provider, The NOVA Fest will resume to an exclusively live event. This may affect our programming schedule in 2025. Please check for updates.
