Golden State Film Festival will hold its 9th edition on February 18th thru February 26th, 2026 in Hollywood, California
The Golden State Film Festival we take pride in creating a fun relaxed and exciting festival for independent films located in Hollywood, California screening at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres.
The Festival will feature an opening night panel and party event gala, special events throughout the festival and an awards ceremony at the conclusion of the event.

The festival is programmed and organized by an experienced team of festival organizers located in Hollywood, California. The Golden State Film Festival is designed to be a contending platform for independent filmmakers to promote independent films in California The “Golden State”. The festival caters to independent filmmakers of shorts and feature projects looking to promote to distributors and film aficionados in the Los Angeles area and California.

Chicago Southland International Film Festival
The Chicago Southland International Film Festival is a film festival located in University Park, IL and hosted by Governors State University. With core values of inclusiveness, diversity, and promoting quality of life, we at GSU value an atmosphere that fosters a capacity to enjoy life through the fine arts and humanities.
CSIFF 2026 will again include our Feature Film Showcase and Short Film Competition for students and professionals. The Feature Film Showcase includes feature films hand-selected by members of the CSIFF Committee, and has previously featured Sundance Grand Jury Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated films. Most films and short film programs will be followed by a live Q & A with the filmmaker(s).
CSIFF takes place annually in April. A full festival schedule will be released closer to the festival date.

Argo Film Fest
The main objective of this Non-profit Organization, in its 15 years of activity, is to form a platform for young film makers to express themselves and to realize their potential by assisting them to make their own feature films. Therefore, the organization consists of the festival which has formed a strong collaboration with 1821 Pictures, a media production company in Los Angeles and Los Angeles Film Festival.
Furthermore, the festival has accomplished strategic alliances with Cartier, Baume & Mercier, Tommy Hilfiger, Vodafone etc. During this period, AFF has organised workshops, labs and seminars by well known actors and filmmakers and featuring international personas such as Nia Vardalos, Billy Zane, Noomi Rapace, Maria Menounos and comic book legend Stan Lee.
Additionally, this year AFF launched its side project “ARGO TALKS” featuring critically acclaimed actors & filmmakers like the Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, Fisher Stevens & Tye Sheridan, as well as the director of the franchise films of Marvel, Joe Russo, the twice Oscar-nominated Greek-American Director of Photography Phedon Papamichael, the legendary Hollywood producer Barbara De Fina (GoodFellas, Casino, Cape Fear, Hugo etc), Halle Berry, Barbara Broccoli, Hilary Swank, Reinaldo Marcus Green, John Stamos, NETFLIX CEO, Ted Sarandos and many more who take us through a brief retrospective of their career, talking about the secret of their success.

Golden Gate International Film Festival (GGIFF) is supported by AMC Independent and NBC Bay area. GGIFF, powered by Net Effect Media Inc. is dedicated to all talented content creators world-wide, who have an excellent opportunity to showcase their talent.
In celebration of our 10th year, GGIFF 2025 is offering special discounted rates for “Assured Screening”.
What is Assured Screening? Assured screening guarantees your submission a screening, irrespective of your film being selected or nominated. If you want to opt for “Assured Screening”, please select the “Assured Screening” option in the category of your film, at the time of submission. For a regular submission, please select the regular submission option.
Nov 7-9, 2025 – Screenings of the nominated films will be held at the AMC theater. The in-theater screenings would include Q&A sessions, after each slot and a red carpet Award Ceremony / Dinner at 7:30 pm on Nov 9, 2025. These would also include entries that opt for “Assured Screening”.
Nov 10 – Dec 28, 2025 – An optional feature where select films will be screened online and compete for the Audience Choice Awards (TOP 3). These Awards are driven by Audience votes.
