KERA-TV’s Frame of Mind is looking for submissions for next season’s Texas-based films

Frame of Mind, the 13-episode TV series which spotlights independent film from around Texas on KERA TV, public television for North Texas (Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth) is looking for submissions.

Produced by the Video Association of Dallas, Frame of Mind is looking for work that has ties to or is inspired by Texas. The film could be made in Texas OR address some aspect of life in the state OR made by filmmakers currently residing in Texas OR is about a Texan. Bart Weiss, the show’s producer has said that while they love a good cowboy hat, they also know that over 29 million people live here. Their traditions and their stories are what they find interesting. Much more so beyond stereotypes about the state.
