Omar Sosa’s 88 Well-Tuned Drums,Soren Sorensen’s documentary on Saturday, April 23, injected some Latin Jazz into Dallas by way of the film, as well as the film’s star subject, Latin Jazz master Omar Sosa, himself.
Sosa had taken a weekend off from a worldwide tour with Dallas hitting the sweet spot between stops in Santa Fe and Barcelona, while Sorensen and his wife Carrie, came in from Rhode Island for the film’s debut – and, yes, some Dallas barbecue.
