Material Issue: International Pop Overview

Sound Unseen Festival Director Jim Brunzell, said, “When planning a festival lineup, sometimes small miracles appear at the last minute and having the opportunity to debut a film about a band that was personal to us like OUT OF TIME: THE MATERIAL ISSUE STORY was just that. Material Issue was a band I listened to in my teenage years, and this event celebrates two events: the world premiere screening of their film, and a celebration of their 30th anniversary debut studio album “International Pop Overview” which put them on the rock music map forever. To have Balin, Ted, and Mike attend the world premiere is just amazing and we’re incredibly honored and thrilled to be the film festival first out if the gate to celebrate their legacy in this way.”
