On our second podcast, Justina and I talk about the first reviews on the podcast. Apparently, there is some interest in my hair having its own show. And Justina has some fans that think she was the “winner” in our first go-round. She’s competitive so that’s the gift that just keeps giving as far as she is concerned.
By viewer request we talk about Sundance. Is it still a “thing”? Should it be considered a “discovery” film festival by this point? (If you know me at all you know that answer coming right out of the gate.) Is it worth submitting your film to Sundance if you don’t have alums or big movie stars? And more…
Justina loves her some Tik Tok, so we had to talk about that. I’m grampa so that is really all her BUT I do love me the movies with the dogs and cats. Because I’m a SUCKA for the puppers and the kittens.
And we wrap it up talking about the Woodstock Film Festival’s brand new Filmmaker residency/Incubator Program. And Justina helps me learn how to say Mira Nair’s name correctly…because I’m always learning…and she’s always happy to “teach” me (if you know what I mean).
