Founded in 2005 and recognized as one of the top documentary film festivals in the world, the Camden International Film Festival (CIFF) gathers boundary pushing storytellers and industry leaders from around the world for a four day celebration of non-fiction cinema.

CIFF is an experience as unique as the films we exhibit. Hosted on the rugged coast of Maine, the Festival Weekend is packed with a hearty roster of filmmaker Q&As, interactive installations and networking sessions – with plenty of opportunity for surprise and discovery. At CIFF, the emphasis is on building relationships – between filmmakers, industry, and audiences.

In CIFF’s program, you’ll find films, performances, and installations that move the documentary artform’s conversations two steps forward. We’re interested in films that explore cinema’s potential, engage in urgent conversations, and are rooted in the perspectives of thoughtful, unique creators.

Welcome to Fear No Film 2025! Fear No Film, in essence, means fear no filmMAKER nor filmmaker’s VISION.

This is a very unique festival that screens a wide variety of short films to a really film-savvy and appreciative, art-loving audience.

And, film is just one of 50+ art forms happening simultaneously. The Utah Arts Festival is one of the largest, most culturally rich artistic showcases in the western United States. The works celebrated at the festival stretch well beyond the borders of Utah, exposing over 70,000 festival-goers to a diverse collection of contemporary yet traditional, challenging yet accessible, thought provoking yet fun range of works over four frenetic days every June. 

The Fear No Film Festival aims to celebrate a similar range of artistic excellence. Over 50 international short films will be screened with non-cash awards awarded by a Grand Jury, the Utah Arts Festival, and by audience voting.
